This blog is about Aiden, our second child, a beautiful and bubbly little boy. At eleven months old, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, manifesting as left hemiplegia. That diagnosis was later changed to triplegia, meaning three of his four limbs are affected (in his case only his right arm functions as it should).

The CP is a result of damage he suffered to his brain due to a stroke that occured before he was born. Despite the severity of the damage, he consistently surprises us with how much he is able to accomplish. For this we are immensely grateful.

This is a journey none of us would have chosen, but it’s the one we are on. It is part of our story, whether we want it to be or not. And so I’ve decided to record it – the physical, the emotional, the spiritual. Thank you for supporting us along the way.
